SEEKONK, Mass. — The challengers at the front of Friday’s Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars main event changed often in 25 laps. But in the final few lap dash, Nicholaus Bulkeley was the one holding the checkered flag, for the first time in his career. He passed Jacob “Rowdy” Burns for the lead with just a few laps remaining, then held Burns off at the line to take the win. He added his name to Seekonk’s win list, joining two other drivers who also scored their first career win Friday night in other divisions. Burns would settle for the runner-up spot while Isaiah Newcomb made a late move to grab third. Teammates Richie Helger Jr & Chase Silvia finished fourth and fifth. The race had a nasty crash with just three laps remaining as Josh Parsons, Riley Paul and others were collected down the backstretch. Kevin Davis, Mason Tessier, Cole Robie, Jaden Hamilton and Jimmy Silvia finished in positions six through 10. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will return to the track on Friday, July 14 for another main event.
