![]() SEEKONK, Mass. — Mike Brightman held off a hard-charging Tom Scully Jr. to take down his second Pro Stock victory of the season at Seekonk Speedway on Saturday. Brightman started in the middle of the pack and quickly worked his way to the front, passing Tyler Tomassi for the lead at the halfway point and holding off Scully over the final 10 laps to take the win. Brightman has the setup figured out this season and has been among the dominant forces in the division. The third victory of the year continues to give him confidence going forward. Scully would finish second, while Tomassi crossed the stripe third on the track, but didn’t pass post-race inspection. Dave Darling finished fourth, inheriting third. The Pro Stocks will return to the track on Saturday, August 6 for a 60-lap feature in the final round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown.
