SEEKONK, Mass. — For the second time in 2022, Chase Belcher was celebrating in Victory Lane on Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway. Belcher used a few smooth moves in the beginning of the 30-lap feature and held off Mark Jension to score the win. By the halfway point, Belcher was inside the top three and racing Jeramme Lillie for the lead. He passed for the top spot on lap 20 and would never look back en route to the win. Jenison crossed the line second, while Paul Lallier, a former season winner, finished the podium in third. Richie Murray used a late move to grab himself a fourth-place finish while Lillie rounded out the top-five. Vinnie Arrenegado was sixth, followed by Brendon Hammann, John Silva, Kevin Bowe and Bill Goodrow. The Late Models will return to the track on Saturday, August 6 for a 45-lap feature in the final round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown.
