![]() SEEKONK, Mass. — For the second week in a row, former Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman champion Chad Baxter picked up the win at Seekonk Speedway. But, this time, it was a lot harder than it was the week before. Baxter used the outside lane to hold off his teammate Ryan Lineham to take the feature win. After 25 laps, and really 10 or 12 battling side-by-side for the lead, Baxter was on top. Lineham worked the bottom for the lead trying everything in the final laps, but had to settle for the runner-up spot. The two put on a classic Sportsman battle around the third-mile. Steve Axon finished in third, with Adam Pettey and Craig Pianka finishing fourth and fifth. Rob Kohler, Paul Williams, Colby Lambert, Don Perry and Dan Saritelli finished off the top-10. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman will be back on the track on Saturday, September 9, for round one of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup playoffs.
