![]() SEEKONK, Mass. — On a special Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment night at Seekonk Speedway, Chad Baxter made clear he is the dominant force in the Sportsman. The defending champion rocketed to yet another win, driving away from his competition in style to win the Helger’s 50-lap feature. It was surely the longest Sportsman race of the year, but Baxter didn’t let that slow him down. He quickly raced to the lead and drove away into the sunset in the final laps to score the win. His teammate Ryan Lineham finished in second, posting a strong run in his return, while Scott Serydynski Jr scored a podium in third. Adam Pettey and Craig Pianka finished the top-five. Colby Lambert followed in sixth, with Randy Moretti, Cody Tripp, Adam Giacomozzi and Doug Benoit completing the top-10. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman will return to the track on Saturday, August 27 for the final round of the regular season for 25 laps.
