SEEKONK, Mass. — One week after leaving the track early, Vinnie Arrenegado rebounded in a big way on Saturday night in the Late Models. Arrenegado jumped out front early on lap eight, passing Connor Souza for the lead, then lost the top spot to Jacob Burns on lap 16. But, the former champion didn’t quit. Arrenegado chased down Burns over the final laps while Burns struggled with a loose car and made the winning move on lap 27 en route to the win. Burns settled for second, with Luke LeBrun charging through the field and coming home with a strong third-place finish after two wins in a row. Chase Belcher and Richie Murray finished the top-five, ahead of Bill Goodrow, Corey Fanning, Tyler Tomassi, Scott Serydynski Jr and Mark Jenison. The Late Models will be back on the track on Saturday, July 15 for round two in the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series.
