ARRENEGADO IS BACK: VINNIE WINS AGAIN IN LATE MODELS

SEEKONK, Mass. — Vinnie Arrenegado struggled much of the summer, but he might be turning it on right at the right time. The defending Late Model champion used a smooth three-wide move to grab the lead in Saturday’s 30-lap feature and never looked back, rolling to Victory Lane. The win was the third of the season for Arrenegado, who saw the monkey fly off his back. 

Gerry DeGasparre Jr raced through the pack to grab another podium run, finishing second. The seven-time champion is putting himself in prime position to chase another trophy this season. 

Reese Bogue scored his first Late Model podium, finishing third, while Jacob Burns and Richie Murray completed the top-five. 

Jeramee Lillie finished sixth, followed by Josh Hedges, Mark Jenison, Chase Belcher and Paul Lallier.
