Seekonk Speedway’s youngest contingent of drivers are ready to do battle again in 2024. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits include drivers who begin at just eight-years-old and roll through through 12, showcasing the true young talent at the Action Track of the East offers. Beginning on May 24, they will contend for wins weekly and the season-long championship. One of the favorites in the Bandits going into 2024 is Mason Silvia. Probably the most experienced in the group, and ready to challenge for their first career win. Silva made the playoffs and made some noise last year and will most likely park in Victory Lane this year at some point. Other names to look out for include Luka Dib and David Bernier. Dib is another one who has plenty of laps to his credit and a podium run in his past, and will be a major threat to win. Bernier already has a victory to his credit at a Connecticut track this season and has looked strong in pre-season practice laps driving the No. 30. The Chaber name will continue to be part of the Bandolero’s at Seekonk Speedway, as Jace Chaber follows in the footsteps of his brother to look for his first win this season. Other names to watch include Alya Martin, in her second full-time season, Kennedy Burrows, Carl Satterlund Jr., Sophia Padula, Leah Desrosiers and Joseph Satterlund. The 2024 season opens for the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits on Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m. The season includes events from May through September. The championship night for the Bandolero Bandits will be Friday, September 27.
