Josh Parsons has been racing in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars for a long, long time. Basically since the inception of the division, Parsons has been chasing checkered flags, scoring podium finishes and looking to somehow seal the season-long divisional championship.

Entering the 2025 season at Seekonk Speedway, Matt Talbot was on the list of many drivers with experience in the Pure Stock division to watch. Talbot entered the year looking to visit Victory Lane and try to get down to the final race of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup with a chance to win it. 

Long known for his success in Seekonk Speedway’s Thrill Show events, Richie Johnson has been tearing the track up on Fast Friday the last two seasons. This year, Johnson did it again in the Sport 4 division - capturing the championship in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup, his first career track title in the No. 8.

When the Final Four was determined in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws, it was a toss-up on who would win the title. All four were deserving champions, all showing their talent throughout the year. For the seventh time in 2025, Landon Solomito was carrying the checkered flag on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. The driver of the No. 66 jumped out front quickly from his pole position and never looked back, rocking to the win and also capturing the championship for the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits in the process.

Seekonk Speedway returns to Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday racing action for the final time in 2025 this weekend. Track champions will be crowned in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup on both nights, all part of D. Anthony Venditti Championship weekend at the Action Track of the East.

A trying summer didn’t get the No. 4 team down in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars. Brenden LaBelle recovered to get back to Victory Lane Friday night at Seekonk Speedway, holding off some of the best in Legends Cars competition at the Action Track of the East throughout the 25-lap showdown to do it.

A near perfect season continued for Richie Johnson on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. In the No. 8 Sport Four, Johnson jumped out to the lead from the outside pole and never looked back, dominating the 25-lap penultimate race of the season for the division.

For much of Friday’s Pure Stock showdown, Brent Robidoux was well on his way to returning to Victory Lane. But, a final restart put Ethan Souza in prime position to try and make a run. Souza and Robidoux raced side-by-side right down to the wire of the 25-lap round two Sunoco Drive For The Cup event, and it was Robidoux coming out on top yet again.

Seekonk Speedway has a packed weekend of excitement planned September 12-13, with drivers continuing their battle for the championship on both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday. On top of that, Saturday night is First Responders Night, with free admission for First Responders courtesy of IBEW Local 99, along with the annual Wall of Fame induction.

Jacob “Rowdy” Burns has been the dominant car all year in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars at Seekonk Speedway.
