FAST FRIDAY DIVISIONS READY TO ROLL IN 2026

Are you ready for the roar of Fast Friday’s in 2026? Seekonk’s growing Friday night program will return for the new season - with 15 action-packed events with the addition of a NEW division to the weekly slate!

The One-Way Recycling Crown Vic Cruisers will move from the Thrill Show events to become a weekly Fast Friday night class, showcasing feature events set for 20 laps. This is the cheapest way to get into short-track racing - begin your growth up the racing ladder with the Crown Vics! Stay tuned for rules and race format coming soon for this division.

On top of the Crown Vics, the full Fast Friday slate also includes five returning divisions - the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, Pure Stocks, Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4s and Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits and Outlaws. Each week, drivers will battle it out under the lights for glory in the race for the championship in the returning four-week Sunoco Drive For The Cup to end the season.

The Fast Friday slate begins with opening night, May 29, 2026. Events will take place on June 5, 12, 19 and 26. In July, events will take place on July 10, 17 and 24. In August, racing action hits the track on August 7, 14, 21 and 28. The final event in August will mark the first round of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. The final three playoff events will be September 11, 18 and championship night on September 25. 

There is also points event slated for the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars on Wednesday, July 1 when the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is in town. This event will be the annual Nick Lascuola Racing Summer Showdown, set for 30 laps and worth $2,000 to win. No other Friday night divisions will compete that evening, and all Fast Friday divisions will have July 3 off. Stay tuned for further details on this mid-week special.

Seekonk Speedway continues to provide off weekends during the season for Fast Friday teams and fans to spend time with their family away from the track, while still enjoying the high-speed action around the third-mile for 15 thrilling events in the new 2026 season.
