PARSONS FINALLY ADDS CHAMPIONSHIP TO HIS RESUME

Josh Parsons has been racing in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars for a long, long time. Basically since the inception of the division, Parsons has been chasing checkered flags, scoring podium finishes and looking to somehow seal the season-long divisional championship.

In 2025, Parsons accomplished the task. The driver of the Nick Lascuola Racing No. 09 took down the title in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup, passing Jacob Burns in the final laps of the season-finale and driving off into the sunset to win the race and the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars championship. 

“It’s been a long time coming,” Parsons said. “We’ve lost by just a few points, multiple times. It feels good to finally get it. The car was on rails during the last race, and once I got into a rhythm and gave it all we had, I knew we would get it. Honestly, I can’t believe it and can’t thank everyone enough.”
