FAST FRIDAY, NASCAR RACING RETURN TO SEEKONK SPEEDWAY THIS WEEKEND
SEEKONK, Mass. — The month of June at Seekonk Speedway will end with a doubleheader weekend of racing, with both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday on the track June 27 & 28.
Fast Friday includes five divisions of racing, with three special event Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series races. On NASCAR Saturday, four divisions roar back to the third-mile with a special Triple Crown event in the Pro Stocks, two 40-lap races in the Seekonk Speedway 80th Anniversary Series for the Sport Trucks and Sportsman, and the Late Models.
Fast Friday racing begins at 7 p.m., while NASCAR Saturday will drop the green flag at 6 p.m.
Fast Friday action roars to life headlined by Everett’s Triple Crown Series events for the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars and both Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero divisions. Through their first four events, the Bandit division has only seen two different winners. Jace Chaber captured the first three feature wins, before finishing third in week four, while Landon Solomito rocketed to Victory Lane for the first time in his career. Entering this Friday night, a few drivers to watch looking to capture their own first career win include Carl Satterlund Jr. and Brooke Meyer. Chaber won the first Triple Crown event. The second round of the Everett’s Triple Crown is set for 15 laps.

The Bandolero Outlaw Everett’s Triple Crown battle will also be 15-laps, like the Bandits. Back on June 6, round one of the Triple Crown was won by David Bernier, the defending Bandit division champion. He is one of four different winners in the first four races of the season. Bernier, Allyha DeSomma, Vincent Sarro and most recently, Luka Dib, have all carried the checkered flag. Entering week five, a few other names to watch looking to add their name to the list include Jordan Duquette, Nathan Zimmerman, Mason Silva and Ryder Aguiar.
The Sport 4 field has only two different winners in the first four races of 2025. Richie Johnson won the first two, while Arthur Meack has followed it up to do the same in the last two. While they have been the winners, consistency has been the name of the game for others, like Jacob Budzyna and Mikey LeFort III, who currently sit second and third in the championship standings. Both are looking for their first career wins. Henry Lavallee, Nate Harris, Hannah Arseanult, Daniel Hayes, Christine Cavallaro and others are all expected back on the track for Friday’s 25-lap main event.
In the Helger’s Pure Stocks, four different drivers have been to Victory Lane in the first four races of the season. Mike Henriques, Jared Cordeira, Danny Massa and Brent Robidoux have all carried the checkered flag. Through four events, Robidoux leads the championship battle over Henriques and Ethan Souza, who hasn’t won, but has been extremely consistent early in the year. Cordeira and Matthew Talbot round out the current top-five in points. Entering their 25-lap event this week, look for Rookie of the Year contenders Zachary Keith, Bryson Robidoux and Crystal Murray to try and break through for their first career win.

After three Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars feature events, Jacob Burns, Josh Parsons and Brenden LaBelle have all been tough to beat. Burns won the first two, and finished second in week three, while Parsons has been on the podium in all three. LaBelle has also joined both of them in the top-five in every event. Those three will be back up front this week - while names like last weeks winner Chase Silvia, Ryan Vanasse Jr., Mason Tessier, Brody Wakefield, Richie Helger Jr. and more will all look to knock them off the top. The Legends Cars first Triple Crown race on June 6 was won by Burns. They are back for 30 laps this week in round two.
On NASCAR Saturday, both the Sport Trucks and Helger’s Sportsman will compete in Seekonk 80th season Anniversary events - both set for 40 laps - totaling 80 circuits between the two divisions.
In the Sport Trucks, Ethan Heilborn charged through the field to capture his second win of the season last week, sweeping the first two Triple Crown events. Tim Bolger was right there with him, fighting through the battle at the end to come home second. Through the opening portion of the season, Mike Cavallaro has been on the podium in every single race - putting him at the top of the championship standings comfortably. Cavallaro, Heilborn and Bolger actually hold the top three spots in points, with Jake Vanada and Rick Martin, two other season winners, close behind. This week, the Trucks run their longest race of the year, set for 40 laps.
The Helger’s Sportsman provide enough excitement in a normal 25-lap race, but this week, 40 circuits will keep the division drivers on the edge of their drivers seats. Through the first month and a half of the season, Scott Serydynski Jr., Adam Pettey, Colby Lambert and Jeremy Lambert have finished inside the top-five in all of the races. These four have distanced themselves as the fastest of the bunch week after week - but there are plenty of others trying to chase them down. All but Jeremy have won a race. Look for Doug Benoit, Nick Wood, Nick Brightman and others to be a factor in the extra-distance 40-lap event this Saturday night.

The Pro Stocks will hit the track for 60 laps in the second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series on Saturday night, June 28. Coming off a rough and tumble main event last week that saw Mark Jenison out-duel Dave Darling in the final laps, the division returns to the track this week to set the Triple Crown Final Four for August 9’s finale. Back in the first Triple Crown race, Jacob Burns rocketed to Victory Lane, one of two wins in the first four events of the season. Vinnie Arrenegado and Jenison are the only other two drivers that have been to Victory Lane. This week, look for Darling to try and breakthrough, while Bobby Pelland III, the defending Everett’s Triple Crown champion, Dylan Estrella, Mikey Brightman, Nick Lascuola, Colbey Fournier and others will all look to be threats.

In the Late Model division, Connor Souza jumped out front quickly last week and drove away from the competition, not leaving any questions that he had the car to beat. Now that he won, he will have to start towards the back this week, opening the door for someone else to try and grab the win. Will it be previous season winner Luke LeBrun returning on top after a tough week that ended with an early wreck? What about Charlie Rose? Can Chase Belcher finally park in Victory Lane after a massively consistent start to the season that sees him in the championship lead? Or will someone like Andrew Gomes, Mark Jenison, or Richie Murray end up on top? The Late Models will wrap the night this week with 30 laps.
