HEILBORN EDGES BOLGER FOR SPORT TRUCK TRIPLE CROWN ROUND TWO WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — Earlier this season, Ethan Heilborn captured his first career Sport Truck win at Seekonk Speedway, and did it in the first race of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series. Saturday night, in round two of the Triple Crown, a 35-lap main event, Heilborn got the job done again.

His second career Seekonk win came after a thrilling, close battle with Tim Bolger Jr in the final laps. The two drivers raced side-by-side, giving it all they had. In the end, it was Heilborn coming out on top to take down win number two in the first five events.

Bolger settled for a strong second-place finish, while Mike Cavallaro worked his way back through the field after some mid-race contact to finish a strong third.

DJ Thibeault and Jake Vanada followed in fourth and fifth.

Rick Martin, Tom Scully III, Mike Duarte, Daryl Church and Amy Helger rounded out the top-10.

The Sport Trucks will be back on the track on Saturday, June 28, for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
