SOUZA DOMINATES FOR TRIPLE CROWN LATE MODEL WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — Connor Souza, the defending Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series champion in the Late Model division, has raced his way back into the finals again for 2025.

Saturday night, Souza jumped out front and dominated the 45-lap Triple Crown round two, taking down his first win of the season. With the win, he also locks himself into the finale of the Triple Crown in August, looking to defend his crown.

He was closely followed by Chase Belcher to the finish. Charlie Rose and Jacob “Rowdy” Burns battled hard for the third and final podium spot over the final 15 laps, with Rose coming out on top in the end. Burns would finish fourth, followed by Tyler Lallier, scoring his first career Late Model top-five finish.

Richie Murray finished in sixth, followed by Mark Jenison, Andrew Gomes, Ryan Vanasse Jr and Bill Goodrow.

The Late Models will be back on the track on Saturday, June 28, for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
