SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway hits the month of July this weekend for weekly racing, and as the summer begins to really heat up, there are just seven weekends of short-track racing left before the fields are set for the Sunoco Drive For The Cup championship chase.
Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday will both be back on the track this weekend, with extra-distance racing spread across both nights. Fast Friday is headlined by round two of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the Helger’s Pure Stocks and the Sport 4s, with the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits and Outlaws and Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars also in action.
NASCAR Saturday hits the track for a major event night with the American Racer Pro Stock 75 worth $2,000 to win, the Late Model 80th Anniversary Series 80-lap race, the Helger’s Sportsman, Sport Trucks and a special appearance from the Senior Tour Auto Racers.

Fast Friday will begin at 7 p.m. and NASCAR Saturday will go green at 6 p.m.
The green flag drops on Fast Friday for the second round of the Everett’s Triple Crown Series in both the Sport 4 and Helger’s Pure Stocks. At the end of both of their 30-lap events, the Triple Crown Final Four will be set, marking all five Friday divisions with a final four.
In the Sport 4 division, round one of the Triple Crown Series went to Arthur Meack, who slid through a contact filled battle with Mikey LeFort III and Matt Pion on that night to score his first of two wins. Through five Sport 4 events, Richie Johnson and Meack have two wins each, with Samantha Sleboda capturing the checkered flag last time out. To make the Triple Crown Final Four, two drivers will be locked in by virtue of wins in the first two Triple Crown events, while the other two spots are held by the highest total points in the two races remaining. Meack won the first race over Johnson and Daniel Hayes, who are in good position to try and make the Triple Crown Final Four in their 30-lap special event this week. Look for LeFort to aim for his first career win, while Jacob Budzyna looks to continue some early season consistency.
The Helger’s Pure Stock first Everett’s Triple Crown Series event back on June 13 went to Danny Massa, the defending Triple Crown champion. Now that he has locked his way into the Triple Crown finale, three more drivers will look to join him there this week. Back in race one, Brent Robidoux and Ethan Souza joined Massa on the podium. Both of those drivers have been very consistent during the first stretch of the season, with Robidoux winning the last two races. Souza has yet to win, but has been up at the front weekly. Some other names to watch in Friday’s 30-lap special event include Matt Talbot, Jared Cordeira, Zachary Keith, Crystal Murray, Peter Bleau and others.

Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars action has run through Jacob Burns in the first four events. Burns has three victories in four races, with only Chase Silvia taking him down once, but Burns was able to finish second that night. While Burns has been the top challenger, Brenden LaBelle and Josh Parsons have been inside the top-five in all four races. Parsons has actually been on the podium in all of them, inching closer and closer to his first win of the season. Will it come this Friday in the 25-lap main event? Or, will someone like Ryan Vanasse Jr., Mason Tessier, Richie Helger Jr or Brandon Martinez take down their first win of the year?
Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit action has been hot with multiple first-time winners to open the 2025 season. Last time out, it was Landon Heim taking the No. 07 to Victory Lane for the first time in his career, while Landon Solomito and Jace Chaber have also done the same. Chaber won the first three races of the year. Looking ahead, as they get ready for Friday’s 15-lap feature, look for Carl Satterlund Jr., Brooke Meyer or Elias Dib to try and add their name to the list as a first-time winner at Seekonk Speedway.
In the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws, Jordan Duquette captured his first career win last time out. He joined Vincent Sarro, Allyha DeSomma, Luka Dib and David Bernier as first-time Outlaw winners so far in 2025. As the division returns to the track for 15 laps this Friday night, look for Mason Silva, Nathan Zimmerman, Ryder Aguiar and others to attempt to add their name to the list. The Outlaw division has five different winners in five events.

NASCAR Saturday includes a mega night of short-track racing, with 80 laps for the Late Models in the Anniversary Series special, 75-laps in the American Racer special for the Pro Stocks, and races for the Helger’s Sportsman and Sport Trucks. The Senior Tour Auto Racers will also give fans a look back in time.
The Late Models 80-lap Anniversary special will start with a special introduction, where cars will be placed back-first to the outside wall on the frontstretch and drivers will all come together in the infield for introductions. Winners so far this season include Luke LeBrun, Charlie Rose, Jacob Burns, Connor Souza and last time out, first-time season winner Chase Belcher. Certainly, those five names will be threats to win Seekonk’s longest Late Model weekly event of the year. They will be joined by Andrew Gomes, Richie Murray, Mark Jenison, Brittany Campbell, David Lougee and many others for this Saturday night’s special event.
The Pro Stocks will finally run the American Racer 75 worth $2,000 to win, delayed a month by Mother Nature. The extra-distance event is nothing new for the Pro Stocks, who are freshly coming off round two of the Triple Crown Series, which was 60 laps. David Darling captured his first victory of the year over Nick Lascuola after Lascuola dominated the entire race. Both drivers will be back this week to fight against points leaders Jacob Burns and Bobby Pelland III, who are both tied in the championship standings. Tied for third are Mark Jenison and Darling, while Vinnie Arrenegado and Dylan Estrella follow. Between first and sixth, just eight points separate all of those drivers. Burns, Darling, Jenison and Arrenegado have all won so far this season.
Helger’s Sportsman competition continues to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Last time out, in their Anniversary Series 40-lap race, Doug Benoit captured his first career win. While he did that, he held off Scott Serydynski Jr. and Colby Lambert in a thrilling side-by-side battle to the finish. So far in 2025, Lambert, Serydynski, Adam Pettey, Jeremy Lambert and Benoit have been the drivers to beat. This week, they are back for 25 laps, with plenty of others looking to throw their names into the mix.
In the Sport Trucks, Rick Martin is the most recent division winner, capturing the Anniversary Series 40-lap race. Although Martin won, Dane Saritelli finished a season-best second, inching closer and closer to his first career Sport Truck win. Through the first two months, Mike Cavallaro has a comfortable margin at the top of the championship standings over Ethan Heilborn, Tim Bolger, Martin and Jake Vanada. Many drivers will be ones to watch as the Sport Truck division returns for another 25-lap main event this Saturday evening.
