SEEKONK, Mass. — Sometimes, a late restart can tell the whole story of the finish.
Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway, in the second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, David Darling took full advantage of the final restart to park in Victory Lane for the first time in 2025 in the Pro Stocks.
Darling was running second when the caution flew in the final three laps. He lined up to the outside of the front row for the restart and rocketed around Nick Lascuola to pick up his first victory of the season. The former champion will now qualify to race for the Triple Crown championship in August in the No. 52.
Lascuola led nearly the entire second half of the race, but had to settle for second in the final rundown after a dominant performance. Defending champion Dylan Estrella, Vinnie Arrenegado and Mark Jenison finished off the top-five.
Bobby Pelland III was sixth, followed by Rookie of the Year contender Andrew Gomes, Jacob Burns, Daryl Stampfl and Mike Brightman.
The Pro Stocks will be back on the track for another main event on Saturday, July 12 - the American Racer 75. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest updates.
