The 2025 season is heating up, and with just four weeks left in the chase for Rookie of the Year, the next generation of stars are putting it all on the line here at Seekonk Speedway! Thanks to our friends at Columbus Energies, we’re proud to spotlight the new faces who are making waves across every division. The question is… who will hang on and finish the year as Seekonk’s top rookie? Let’s take a look at the current leaders:
NASCAR Saturday Divisions
🔥 Pro Stock – Jacob Burns is turning heads and burning up the track! With a 70-point cushion over Nick Lascuola, Burns has shown maturity beyond his rookie season. But four weeks is a long time—can Lascuola close the gap?
🔥 Late Models – David Lougee has established himself as the clear front-runner, building a sizeable lead over Tyler Almedia. Lougee has been smooth, consistent, and determined all season, but Almedia isn’t going down without a fight.
🔥 Sportsman – One of the tighter battles! Cody Moreau sits on a 40-point lead over Justin Lema. Every lap, every restart, and every move in the next few weeks will matter. Expect fireworks in this one!
🔥 Sport Trucks – Colton Teague has been the class of the field, pulling away to a triple-digit lead over his closest competitor. Can anyone stop his run to the Columbus Energies Rookie of the Year crown?
Fast Friday Divisions
⚡ Legends – Brody Wakefield has been a rising star, and his 62-point lead over Brian Wilkerson proves it. Wakefield has had the speed, but the Legends division is known for surprises—can Wilkerson mount a late charge?
⚡ Sport Four – Hanna Arsenault holds a slim 14-point edge over Nate Harris. This is the closest battle of all divisions, and with the Sport 4s anything can happen. One race could swing this championship-style showdown!
⚡ Pure Stocks – Zachary Smith has been rock solid in his first year, building a 22-point lead over Crystal Murray. But with the hard-hitting Pure Stocks, no lead is safe—this race is far from over.
Four Weeks to Go!
The clock is ticking, and the next four weeks will decide it all. Who will stay cool under pressure and lock up the Seekonk Speedway Rookie of the Year honors presented by Columbus Energies? Which of these talented first-year drivers will cement their place in Seekonk Speedway history?
🏁 One thing’s for sure—every lap matters, and you don’t want to miss a second of the action. Join us at the track or follow along online as the Rookie of the Year races go down to the wire!

Tried out Nano Banana 2 for generating images from text descriptions. The updated version feels more responsive and the output quality has improved noticeably. Works well across different styles from photorealistic to illustrated.
Been using Nano Banana Pro for AI image generation recently. The Pro version handles more complex prompts and delivers sharper results — still powered by Gemini under the hood. Great for concept art and style experiments without any local setup.
Been trying out Nano Banana for AI image generation lately. You just describe what you want in plain text and it generates something — built on Gemini so the quality is decent. Handles a range of styles from realistic to anime. Useful for quick concept visuals without needing to set up anything locally.
Been using Pico Image for a while now for resizing and compressing images. It runs entirely in the browser so nothing gets uploaded to a server, which I find reassuring. Background removal works pretty well too, saves me from opening heavier software for simple tasks.
I like Liteig because it's lightweight and loads quickly even on slower connections. The game library isn't the biggest but everything on there runs smoothly. Good option when you want a no-fuss gaming break.
