DARLING CAPTURES PRO STOCK TRIPLE CROWN TITLE WITH FEATURE WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — After capturing his 100th career victory at Seekonk Speedway earlier this season, David Darling isn’t done adding to the number. Darling was back on top in Saturday’s Pro Stock feature - winning the race and the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown title all at once.

The Story: Darling started at the back of the four drivers who were eligible to win the Triple Crown, but didn’t let that bother him. He charged his way through the field, and although multiple restarts for multiple incidents slowed the race, once he passed Dylan Estrella for the lead, he wasn’t about to give the lead back. Darling had to hold off Vinnie Arrenegado in the final laps - not only for the win - but also the Triple Crown title - and was able to do it.

The Top Finishers: Arrenegado crossed second, one spot short of his first win of the year, and the Triple Crown. Jacob Burns was third, ahead of Dylan Estrella and Mark Jension.

The Pro Stocks will be back on the track on Saturday, August 22, for their final race before the Sunoco Drive For The Cup begins.
