LASCUOLA HOLDS OFF BURNS FOR PRO STOCK WIN

Nick Lascuola had put together impressive speed again early in the Pro Stock season at Seekonk Speedway, but it hadn’t all fallen his way, until Saturday night.
The Story: Lascuola quickly worked his way up to the front of the 40-lap Pro Stock feature, and even though the lap chart shows he led the laps over the second half of the race, Lascuola had a few different drivers trying to take the trophy away. He had to hold off Jacob Burns, making his first Pro Stock start of the year, and nine-time track champion David Darling to accomplish the task of his first victory of the season.
The Top Finishers: Lascuola, Burns and Darling were on the podium. Mike Brightman finished in the fourth spot, with Dylan Estrella rounding out the top-five. Vinnie Arrenegado, Mark Jenison, Colbey Fournier, Jeramee Lillie and Dick Benoit finished the top-10.
The Pro Stocks will be back on the track on Saturday, June 27, for the Everett’s Auto Parts 75-lap special.

DOUG BENOIT HOLDS ON FOR SPORTSMAN TRIPLE CROWN WIN
SEEKONK, Mass. — Doug Benoit has been consistently strong in the early going of the Sportsman season at Seekonk Speedway, and Saturday night, he was celebrating in a big way with a victory in the second round of the Everett’s Triple Crown Series.
The Story: Benoit raced his way through the pack to get to the lead in the final stages, but he had to hold off a hard-charging Randy Moretti to accomplish the task of winning. Benoit and Moretti both came through the pack and found each other in the final laps, racing tightly for the lead right down to the finish. A few taps to the back bumper by Moretti were not enough to get Benoit out of his groove, with Benoit carrying the checkered flag.
The Top Finishers: Benoit, Moretti and Scott Serydynski Jr. finished the top three. Adam Pettey and Nick Wood followed to finish the top-five.
The Sportsman will be back on the track on Saturday, June 27, for another 25 laps of competition.

DUARTE GETS BY AND DRIVES AWAY FOR TRUCK ROUND TWO TRIPLE CROWN VICTORY
SEEKONK, Mass. — In the second round of the Everett’s Triple Crown Series for the Sport Trucks, Mike Duarte found his way to the front of the field and parked in Victory Lane for the first time this season.
The Story: Following an emotional ceremony in remembrance of Alan Bare, Darryl Church led the field to green and dominated the early stages of the Triple Crown event. Church slid off turn four near 10 laps to go, and that allowed Duarte to get the top spot. From there, the former Sport Truck champion drove away into the spotlight to park in Victory Lane for the first time this season.
The Top Finishers: Recent winner DJ Thibeault charged through the field to finish second, with Ethan Heilborn coming home in third. Tommy Adams and Scott Cestodio finished fourth and fifth.
The Sport Truck results are unofficial pending final tech inspection.
The Sport Trucks will be back on the track on Saturday, June 27, for another 25 laps of competition.

MANNY DIAS FINDS VICTORY LANE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 33 YEARS
SEEKONK, Mass. — The 2026 season has brought a new sense of confidence and speed for Manny Dias in the Late Model division at Seekonk Speedway, and Saturday night, he made it all worth it - carrying the checkered flag for the first time in 33 years.
The Story: Dias started from the outside pole in the clean and green 30-lap main event, racing Rookie of the Year contender Brenden LaBelle for much of the early laps. Dias was able to get around and drive away, while LaBelle held off some hard chargers behind him in a battle that went right down to the wire. It was Dias, who has been racing for 33 years since the last time he visited Victory Lane, parking in the top spot when the race concluded. Perhaps the main story for the final half of the race was the hotly contested battle for second, one that was three-wide for many laps between LaBelle, Luke Lebrun and Mark Jenison.
The Top Finishers: Dias bested Lebrun and Jenison at the finish on the podium. Richie Murray and LaBelle finished fourth and fifth.
The Late Models will be back on the track on Saturday, June 27, for another 45 laps of competition in the second round of the Triple Crown.
