COLBY LAMBERT WINS IN WEEK TWO AFTER ANOTHER WILD SPORTSMAN FEATURE

Updated: 5 days ago

SEEKONK, Mass. — Saturday’s Helger’s Sportsman feature was once again a showcase of why the division provides some of the most exciting racing at the front of the pack in all of New England.

After a 25-lap slugfest, Colby Lambert came out on top, scoring his first victory of the season. Lambert was on the podium on opening day and it didn’t take him long to find victory lane. The most consistent driver in the division in 2024, Lambert is showing to be picking up right where he left off.

Defending division champion Adam Pettey was right with him to the line on the outside lane, scoring another top-five, finishing second. Opening day winner Scott Serydynski Jr. followed in third - with Jeremy Lambert charging through the pack after a mid-race issue to still salvage a strong top-five finish in fourth. Josh Gerard, an outside invader, rounded out the top-five.

Both Lambert brothers, Pettey and Serydynski have finished top-five in the first two races of the season.

Charlie Guardino was sixth, followed by Nick Brightman, Doug Benoit, Ed Perry and Nick Wood.

The Helger’s Sportsman will be back on the track on Saturday, May 17 at 6PM for another feature event - the first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, set for 35 laps.
