BURNS DOUBLES DOWN, SCORING FIRST CAREER PRO STOCK WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — May 10, 2025 will be a night to remember for Jacob “Rowdy” Burns and all fans who were at Seekonk Speedway to witness his impressive performance.

For the first time since 1958, a driver captured NASCAR Saturday victories in two different divisions on the same night. Burns opened the night by winning the 30-lap Late Model main event, and followed it up by capturing the 40-lap Pro Stock feature to end the night - his first career Pro Stock victory.

Burns made the pass on Mike Brightman for the top spot and looked to be clear sailing out front en route to his first career win. However, a late caution bunched the field up and gave others a shot to make a run at the front.

When the dust settled, it was Burns taking down the win, holding off the hard charges of defending champion Dylan Estrella to get the job done.

Dave Darling finished third, with Bobby Pelland III and Nick Lascuola rounding out the top-five. Brightman was sixth, followed by Andrew Gomes, Mark Jenison, opening day winner Vinnie Arrenegado and Dick Benoit rounding out the top-10.

The Pro Stocks will be back on the track on Saturday, May 17 at 6PM for another feature event - the first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, set for 60 laps.
