CHARLIE ROSE FINALLY ROCKETS TO SEEKONK CHAMPIONSHIP GLORY

ree

Charlie Rose has been racing at Seekonk Speedway for a long, long time. Finally, in 2025, the veteran driver parked in Victory Lane on the final night of the race season, and captured the Late Model championship in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup in the process.

Rose dominated the final two events of the season, after having a tough first week of the playoffs, to advance into the Final Four and then take down the championship title. Rose came out on top in an epic battle between Mark Jenson, Andrew Gomes and himself over the final laps. In the end, Rose showed pure emotion when he exited the car right after the race, jumping up on the roof and celebrating.

Rose is a former Pro Stock champion at Star Speedway. Now, he adds his first Seekonk title in the 80th season of racing at the Acton Track of the East.

“There’s nothing like it,” Rose said. “The whole life I’ve spent here, in the grandstands, my mom pushed me around in a carriage and I wanted nothing more than to win races and championships here. It never fell my way before, but this is the most unbelievable thing that’s ever happened in my life.”

Seekonk Speedway congratulates Charlie Rose and his entire team on capturing the 2025 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series championship in the Late Model division.
