VANADA GRABS HIS SECOND SPORT TRUCK WIN OF THE SEASON

ree

SEEKONK, Mass. — Starting deep in the Sport Truck field on Saturday night, Jake Vanada had some work to do to get to the front of the pack. He found himself at the front of the field when it mattered most, sliding around Lenny Guy to take the top spot and never looking back. Vanada, driving the Everett’s Auto Parts No. 29, then held on over the final laps to take down his second NASCAR win of the season.

Guy had his most impressive run in many years, leading laps and taking down a strong second-place finish. Mike Duarte, a former champion, made a late pass to join the podium and finish third. Tom Scully III and DJ Thibeault rounded out the top-five.

Rick Martin, Colton Teague, Dane Saritelli, Tim Bolger and Amy Helger rounded out the top-10.

The Sport Trucks will be back on the track for the final race of the regular season on Saturday, August 23. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
