SEEKONK, Mass. — Brent Robidoux had been one of the most consistent drivers in the Helger’s Pure Stock division to open the season, but the defending champion hadn’t yet parked in Victory Lane. On Friday night, he cleared that up in fine fashion.
Robidoux passed Zachary Keith to take the lead, then drove away to score his first win of the season in the 25-lap event.
Keith, a Rookie of the Year contender, put together a strong race starting from the pole, leading laps and coming home with a strong second-place finish.
They were followed by Ethan Souza in third, Greg Perry in fourth, and Bryson Robidoux in fifth.
Mike Henriques finished sixth, followed by Matthew Talbot, Steve Aubin, Justin Menard and Jared Cordeira.
The Helger’s Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, June 27, for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
