HAYES GRABS HIS FIRST SPORT 4 WIN OF THE YEAR, MEACK CLAIMS EVERETT’S TRIPLE CROWN TITLE

SEEKONK, Mass. — It was a battle right down to the end of Friday’s Sport 4 feature at Seekonk Speedway, and two drivers were celebrating at the end of 25 laps - Daniel Hayes and Arthur Meack.
The Story: In the final race of the Everett’s Triple Crown Series, Hayes jumped out front and took control quickly. He would stay out front, picking up his first victory of the season - but it wasn’t easy. Hayes had to hold off multiple-time season winner Arthur Meack to do it, and Meack was doing everything he could to watch his mirror, with Samantha Sleboda trying to get the Everett’s Triple Crown Series title away. In the end, Hayes held on for the win, with Meack crossing the stripe second, good enough to earn him the Triple Crown, holding off a hard-charging Samantha Sleboda.
The Top Finishers: Hayes, Meack and Sleboda finished the top three. Dave Westgate and Antonio Mancini finished the top-five.
The Sport 4s will return to the track for another main event on Friday, August 14.
