PETTEY HOLDS OFF LAMBERT TO WIN HELGER’S SPORTSMAN TRIPLE CROWN ROUND ONE

SEEKONK, Mass. — Adam Pettey, the defending champion in the Helger’s Sportsman, was back in Victory Lane on Saturday night. After finishing on the podium the first two weeks, the first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series proved to be the night for him to break through to glory.

Pettey held off a hard charge from Jeremy Lambert to take his first win of the young season. The driver of the No. 57, much like Lambert, chased up through the field quickly and then battled it out to the finish.

Lambert finished a strong second, with Scott Serydynski Jr and Colby Lambert in third and fourth after their own battle. Ed Perry finished a strong fifth. Cody Moreau, Josh Gerard, Nick Wood, Nick Brightman and Jimmy “Pepe” Silvia finished the top-10.

Pettey, Serydynski and both Lambert brothers have been top-five in all three events so far in 2025.

The Helger’s Sportsman will be back on the track on Saturday, May 31 at 6PM for another feature event. For all of the latest Seekonk Speedway news, follow the track on social media. For the most up to date information and ticket sales, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com.
