SEEKONK, Mass. — Jacob “Rowdy” Burns is wasting no time showing a new division isn’t going to slow him down. Burns jumped out front quickly in Saturday’s 60-lap Pro Stock feature, taking the lead in the first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series.
One week after capturing his first career Pro Stock win in his second start, Burns put together a perfect repeat performance.
The Late Model standout did double-duty again on NASCAR Saturday and ended the night by winning the extra-distance Pro Stock special and locking himself into the Triple Crown finale in August.
Colbey Fournier rebounded from trouble the week before to finish a strong second after leading laps. Mark Jenison, a two-time champion, finished third. Defending champion Dylan Estrella and Vinnie Arrenegado, who had to pit during the middle of the feature, charged back through to finish in fifth.
Bobby Pelland III, Mike Brightman, Nick Lascuola, Daryl Stampfl and Andrew Gomes finished the top-10.
The Pro Stocks will be back on the track on Saturday, June 7 at 6PM for another feature event. For all of the latest Seekonk Speedway news, follow the track on social media. For the most up to date information and ticket sales, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com.
