SEEKONK, Mass. — Radical Rick Martin continues to win into his 51st season behind the wheel. The driver of the No. 14 jumped out front early in Saturday’s NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Sport Truck feature and never looked back, holding off a hard-charging Jake Vanada to take his first win of the season.
In his quest to add a ninth drivers championship to his resume in 2025 at Seekonk, Martin had a solid week one on the podium, but failed to finish week two after a wreck. This week, he made it back to the top.
Vanada finished a close second, breaking a streak of rather tough luck to start the year. Mike Cavallaro continued his podium streak with a third-place finish, as the former champion has now been on the podium in all three races. Tim Bolger Jr & Darryl Church rounded out the top-five.
Amy Helger, Ethan Heilborn, Dane Saritelli, Lenny Guy and DJ Thibeault rounded out the top-10.
The Sport Trucks will be back on the track on Saturday, May 31 at 6PM for another feature event, set for 25 laps. For all of the latest Seekonk Speedway news, follow the track on social media. For the most up to date information and ticket sales, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com.
