SEEKONK, Mass. — Landon Heim was back with the checkered flag in his hand on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway.
Heim jumped out front, passing Brooke Meyer for the top spot, then held off the hard charges of many others to take down the win in the 15-lap Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit main event. Heim had a mirror full of Carl Satterlund Jr over the final laps, looking for his first career win. Satterlund would cross the stripe in second, with Landon Solomito, a recent winner, finishing in third.
Meyer and Elias Dib finished fourth and fifth. Jace Chaber, James Goode, Mackenzie Farpelha and Mya Adams rounded out the field.
The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will return to the track on Friday, August 22 for the final race of the regular season. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, and tickets to upcoming events, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and also follow the track on social media.
