SEEKONK, Mass. — Ethan Souza has been strong all year in the Helger’s Pure Stocks, but hadn’t been to Victory Lane before Friday night. This time, in the second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, Souza left no doubt.
In a race that went without a caution flag, Souza was in the lead early in the 30-lap event and never looked back, rocketing to dominance and victory lane.
He was followed to the line by Justin Menard, who was on the podium for the first time this season, finishing in second. Brent Robidoux was looking for three straight wins, but started 10th and drove through the field to finish a strong third. Mike Henriques and Matthew Talbot finished fourth and fifth.
They were followed by Greg Perry, Jared Cordeira, Zachary Keith, Crystal Murray and Bobby Bettencourt III.
The Helger’s Pure Stocks will be back on the track on Friday, July 18 for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
