SEEKONK, Mass. — Some nights at Seekonk Speedway produce great racing. Others make history.
Saturday night, June 27, delivered both.
Fans witnessed one of the most memorable evenings in the 81-year history of the Action Track of the East as David Darling became just the third driver ever to reach 100 career victories at Seekonk Speedway. His milestone victory highlighted an action-packed NASCAR Saturday program that also featured thrilling wins by Richie Murray, Randy Moretti and Mike Cavallaro.

Darling Reaches the Century Mark
The Everett's Auto Parts Pro Stock 75 belonged to David Darling.
Starting from the middle of the field, Darling wasted little time carving his way toward the front. After slipping past Dick Benoit on a restart, he assumed command of the race and never looked back despite relentless pressure from Vinnie Arrenegado Jr., Nick Lascuola and a hard-charging Mike Brightman.
As the laps wound down, the anticipation grew. When Darling exited Turn 4 on the final circuit, the emotion became impossible to contain. Long before taking the checkered flag, his arm was already out the driver's window celebrating one of the greatest accomplishments in Seekonk Speedway history.
With his 100th career victory, Darling joins only George Summers and Radical Rick Martin as drivers to reach the century mark at Seekonk Speedway.
Brightman finished second after a late-race charge, while Dylan Estrella continued his strong season with a third-place finish. Lascuola and Arrenegado completed the top five.

Murray Scores First Win of 2026
The second round of the Everett's Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the Late Models showcased a veteran performance from Richie Murray.
After starting fifth, Murray patiently worked his way through the field while Bill Goodrow and Chase Belcher each spent time leading the race. Following a restart, Murray found the opening he needed, took over the lead and steadily built an advantage as the laps clicked away.
Belcher remained within striking distance but couldn't mount a serious challenge over the closing laps.
Behind the leaders, one of the night's best battles unfolded as four drivers raced aggressively for the final podium position, often three-wide around the speedway.
Murray earned his first victory of the 2026 season, followed by Belcher and an impressive Luke LeBrun, who recovered from an earlier setback to charge back through the field for third. Mark Jenison, Andrew Gomes and Ryan Vanasse Jr. rounded out the top six.

Moretti Overcomes Penalties for Another Sportsman Victory
Randy Moretti's Sportsman victory may have been his most impressive yet.
After jumping the initial start and receiving a penalty, Moretti battled back through the field to take the lead before officials enforced the earlier infraction, sending him back to fifth for the restart.
Many drivers would have settled for a respectable finish.
Moretti had other plans.
As reigning Fast Friday Pure Stock champion Matt Talbot appeared headed toward his first Sportsman victory, a caution on the final lap set up a dramatic green-white-checkered finish. Moretti capitalized on the outside lane, powered around Talbot and completed an incredible comeback victory.
Talbot turned in one of his strongest Sportsman performances with a runner-up finish, while Doug Benoit rallied from deep in the field to claim third. Sam Lincoln and Al Clements completed the top five.

Cavallaro Caps Perfect Weekend in Photo Finish
The night's closest finish belonged to the Sport Trucks.
Fresh off his Friday night victory in the One Way Recycling Crown Vic Cruisers, Mike Cavallaro carried that momentum into Saturday's Sport Truck feature.
For much of the closing laps, sophomore standout Colton Teague kept constant pressure on the veteran, racing door-to-door as the pair traded momentum around the high banks.
Taking the white flag, neither driver gave an inch.
The two raced side-by-side through the final corners before Cavallaro edged Teague by just 0.010 seconds at the finish line in one of the closest races of the season.
Tim Bolger Jr. completed the podium, while Tommy Adams and Jake Vanada rounded out the top five.

Racing Returns July 1 and July 11
The excitement continues this week with one of the biggest events of the season.
On Wednesday, July 1, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns for the Firecracker 150 presented by Bethesda Leadership Group, joined by the Granite State Pro Stock Series and Nick's Pit Stop Legends Cars in the annual Mid Week Madness spectacular.
NASCAR Saturday competition returns on Saturday, July 11, when the Pro Stocks, Late Models, Sportsman and Sport Trucks are all back in action as championship battles continue to heat up during Seekonk Speedway's historic 81st season.
If Saturday night's racing was any indication, fans won't want to miss what's next at the Action Track of the East.
