BURNS SCORES FIFTH LEGENDS CARS WIN IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

SEEKONK, Mass. — Jacob “Rowdy” Burns picked up his fifth Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars win of the year on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway.  

Dominating the 25-lap main event, Burns not only took down the feature win, but also took back the championship lead for the division - earning him three bonus points as the leader of the Legends Cars heading into the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. 

Chase Silvia charged to the front and beat Mason Tessier in a late duel to finish second. Tessier was on the podium in third, with Brenden LaBelle in fourth and Richie Helger Jr rounding out the top-five.

Ryan Vanasse Jr., Josh Parsons, Jake Silvia, Brody Wakefield and Brandon Martinez finished the top-10.

Burns, Parsons, Chase Silvia, LaBelle, Helger and Vanasse have advanced to the playoffs and will compete for the title in the four races in September. Only Burns and Helger are former Legends Cars champions.
