BURNS ROCKETS TO THE FRONT, DRIVES AWAY TO LEGENDS OPENING WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — Jacob “Rowdy” Burns had already been in Victory Lane at Seekonk Speedway in 2025 on NASCAR Saturday, but picked up his first Fast Friday win of the year this week.

In the opener of the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars season, a 30-lap Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series event, Burns jumped to the lead on lap four and was not going to be denied.

While many others challenged each other behind him, Burns drove away into the sunset. A late caution gave the pack one more chance to make a run, but it wasn’t going to happen. Burns picked up the win in the opener and also won the first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the division.

Brenden LaBelle followed in second for nearly the entirety of the race, and finished right there. Josh Parsons, who mentioned in Victory Lane he was dealing with a vibration, still was able to finish in third. Chase Silvia and Brody Wakefield rounded out the top-five.

Behind them, Isaiah Newcomb, Ryan Vanasse Jr., Jake Silvia, defending champion Richie Helger Jr and Justin Leduc finished the top-10.

The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will be back on the track on Friday, June 13, for another 25-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
