SEEKONK, Mass. — Defending Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit champion David Bernier made the jump to the Bandolero Outlaw division for the 2025 season at Seekonk Speedway. Week one, he had a strong car, but was caught up in a wreck and didn’t get the finish. In week two, he found himself in Victory Lane.
Bernier jumped out front on lap six and held off the charges of many over the final laps to take down his first career Outlaw victory. The middle portion of the race included a tight battle from second on back. Jordan Duquette looked to be closing in on Bernier with a shot at the win, but a caution gave everyone else a chance to tighten up.
In the end, it was Allyha DeSomma who came home second in the No. 10. She was followed by Duquette, who was back on the podium for the second straight week. Mason Silva finished in fourth and Ryder Aguiar rounded out the top-five.
Luka Dib finished sixth, followed by Brady Connors, Nathan Zimmerman, Bro Jordan and Kristina Strickland.
The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws will be back on the track on Friday, June 13, for another 15-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
