SEEKONK, Mass. — Brady Connors has been racing competitively at Seekonk Speedway for a few years, and Friday night, he finally found himself in the winner’s circle. Driving the No. 23, Connors captured his first career checkered flag in the final race of the regular season for the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws, a 15-lap contest.

Connors held off a charge from Vincent Sarro, after passing him in the final laps, to take down his first career win. Sarro crossed the line in second, with recent winner Ryder Aguiar charging from 10th to finish third.

Jordan Duquette and Allyha DeSomma rounded out the top-five. David Bernier, Nathan Zimmerman, Bro Jordan, Mackenzie Cloutier and Zacarius Kelley finished the top-10.

DeSomma earned three bonus points as the leader at the end of the regular season heading into the playoffs. She will be joined by Mason Silva, Aguiar, Duquette, Bernier and Sarro to decide the champion next month.

The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws return to the track for race one of the Sunoco Drive For the Cup on Friday, September 5. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
