ARTHUR MEACK GOES BACK TO BACK IN THE SPORT 4 DIVISION

SEEKONK, Mass. — Arthur Meack survived chaos to win his first Sport 4 race of the season at Seekonk Speedway last week. This time, he left very few questions about how the race was going to finish. Meack captured his second straight Sport 4 win on Friday night, leading much of the second half of the race to do it.

Early, Samantha Sleboda was strong, racing up for the top spot. Shortly after Meack got around, Sleboda spun on the backstretch, drawing the caution. From there, Meack had to hold off the challenges of two-time season winner Richie Johnson over the final laps, but was able to accomplish the task in the No. 11.

Meack now has two wins and so does Johnson in the first four events.

Mikey LeFort III charged up through the field from the rear to finish a strong third. Jacob Budznya was fourth followed by Christine Cavallaro. Matt Smith, Hannah Arsenault, Sleboda and Daniel Hayes.

The Sport 4’s will return to the track on Friday, June 27, for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
