SEEKONK, Mass. — Scott Serydynski Jr didn’t have the start to the Helger’s Sportsman race he would have liked on Saturday night, but it sure ended well. After being caught in a wreck inside the top-five in the first few laps, Serydynski pitted, his crew worked on the car, then he charged to the front.
From the back to the front, Serydynski piloted the No. 22 to Victory Lane for the third time in 2025.
Doug Benoit, the most recent winner, chased him to the line in second spot. Nick Brightman led the majority of the race, but a last-lap pass by Serydynski and Benoit had Brightman settling for third, his best career run in the Sportsman division. Colby Lambert and Adam Pettey finished the top-five.
Albert Clements, Jeremy Lambert, Nick Wood, Cody Moreau and Jimmy Silvia rounded out the top-10.
The Helger’s Sportsman will be back on the track on Saturday, July 19, for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
