THIBEAULT BEATS OUT BOLGER FOR TRUCK WIN; DUARTE CLAIMS EVERETT’S TRIPLE CROWN

SEEKONK, Mass. — There were two drivers celebrating at the end of Saturday’s Sport Truck feature at Seekonk Speedway. DJ Thibeault was back in Victory Lane for the second time this year, besting Tim Bolger in a late battle. Mike Duarte was also celebrating, capturing the Everett’s Triple Crown Series championship for the season.

The Story: Thibeault got the lead away from Danny Massa and looked to be in control before Bolger had something to say about it. The two battled hard for the top spot, before a caution slowed the race near the finish. That lined them up side-by-side to finish their battle for the win, and it was Thibeault crossing the line ahead of Bolger to take down his second victory of the 2026 campaign. Mike Duarte, who had to go to the back in the middle of the race, charged back through the field and used a three-wide pass to beat Ethan Heilborn and Scott Cestodio to win the Everett’s Triple Crown Series title on the final lap.

The Top Finishers: Thibeault beat Bolger, Colton Teague, Danny Massa and Duarte to the finish.

The Sport Trucks will be back on the track on Saturday, August 15 for another 25-lap main event.
