SEEKONK, Mass. — Charlie Rose had been waiting a long time for what happened Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway. After a career filled with wins, consistency and determination, Rose was on top as a champion for the first time in the Late Model division.
Winning the season-finale, a 40-lap contest, Rose jumped out to the front of the field in a spirited battle with fellow playoff contenders Chase Belcher, Mark Jenison and Andrew Gomes. The four drivers put it all on the line to chase the gold, but it was Rose who came out on top at the end of the race.
Rose finished ahead of Jension, Belcher, Gomes and Nathan Tracy to complete the top-five. Randy Burr, Jarrod Freitas, Bill Goodrow, David Lougee and Tyler Lallier finished the top-10.
Seekonk Speedway’s 2026 event schedule will be released in the winter. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
