SEEKONK, Mass. – When looking at the roster for the 2025 Helger’s Pure Stock season at Seekonk Speedway, there are more than a handful of names to watch as possible contenders for the championship. With only six making the playoffs, the battle to enter the championship grounds will be tight. However, all drivers will be looking to win often during the season to get started.
Some of the top names to watch entering the season include defending champion Brent Robidoux, Danny Massa, Jared Cordeira, Mike Henriques, Bobby Bettencourt III and Ethan Souza.
Robidoux, who won the Rookie of the Year and the championship all in one last year, did it in dominating fashion, winning often and running around the top-five all year in impressive style. Robidoux got the job done on the final night, but doing it two years in a row will definitely be a tall task.
Ethan Souza was the most consistent driver in the division last year. Driving the No. 30, Souza is no surprise when he runs at the front of the field. This season, he looks to win during the year, but prepare himself for a battle in the final four weeks. He wants that Pure Stock championship.

Massa, Cordeira, Henriques and Bettencourt all showed speed last year, three of them winning. Cordeira is a former champion in the division, while Massa and Henriques have both been veterans of the Pure Stocks for many years and are looking to finally grab that title. Bettencourt, who had a strong 2024 season, will look for his first career win in 2025.
Some other names to watch in the Pure Stocks include Bryson Robidoux, the defending Bandolero Outlaw champion, who will join his brother in this division and look to follow in his footsteps with at least the Rookie of the Year.
Fans can also watch Crystal Murray, a former two-time Sport 4 champion, who will make the move to the Pure Stock division this season hoping to score her first career victory. Moving up from the Bandolero divisions are Abbie Badejo and Zachary Keith.
Fans should also watch Matt Talbot, who captured his first career win last year and was becoming more and more of a threat weekly, along with Peter Bleau, who also won his first career race in 2024.
The Pure Stock entry list also includes names like Gary Conrad, Harold Holdsworth and more.
The Helger’s Pure Stock season begins at Seekonk Speedway on Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. For more information on Seekonk Speedway and to purchase tickets for all events, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com.
