The Crown Vic Cruisers once again delivered heart-pounding action during the Independence Day Thrill Show at Seekonk Speedway, with a stacked 20-lap showdown and bonus cash on the line thanks to our friends at One Way Recycling.
A talented field of both veteran and rookie racers took the green flag, with NASCAR Division regulars Mike Cavallaro and Crystal Serydynski grabbing the spotlight. Cavallaro started toward the front, while Serydynski—looking to cash in on a $1,000 bonus for a repeat win following her Memorial Day Thrill Show triumph—had to work her way from the back.

Adding to the excitement, Mike Cavallaro was joined by his brother Dick Cavallaro, marking the first time the two raced against each other in over 20 years—a true family affair with bragging rights on the line.
As the laps ticked away, Crystal methodically worked through traffic, one car at a time, eventually making her way past Dick and into second place. With just five laps to go, the crowd was on its feet as Serydynski closed in on Mike, pressuring him lap after lap. In a dramatic final turn, she dove low for a bold last-chance pass—but came up just a few feet short at the line.
Mike Cavallaro captured the victory and the $500 winner’s bonus from One Way Recycling, celebrating on the podium with Crystal in second and Dick Cavallaro rounding out the top three.
The Crown Vic Cruisers return to action on August 2nd for the Mid-Summer Thrill Show.
