SEEKONK, Mass. — The Lambert Brothers Racing team was seemingly the show Saturday night in the Sportsman division at Seekonk Speedway.
Colby Lambert jumped up from his third row starting spot, one week after mechanical misfortune, and drove to victory, passing his brother Jeremy to accomplish the task.
The win helped Lambert get back on top of the championship standings in the division with one week remaining before the Sunoco Drive For The Cup Playoffs begin.
Jeremy finished in second, with part-time runner Josh Hedges scoring his second top-five of the night in third, also finishing fifth in the Late Models. Doug Benoit and Nick Wood finished the top-five.
Adam Pettey, Rob Kohler, Al Clements, Scott Serydynski Jr and Cody Moreau rounded out the top-10.
The Sportsman will be back on the track for the final race of the regular season on Saturday, August 23. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
