JOHNSON MAKES IT TWO FOR TWO IN THE SPORT 4S

SEEKONK, Mass. — Richie Johnson is two-for-two in the Sport 4 division at Seekonk Speedway this season. The driver of the No. 8 may not have won last year, but he was close many, many times. This year, he’s getting the checkered flags out of the way. Johnson passed Mikey LeFort III for the lead on lap 14, then led the remainder of the distance to take down another victory in Friday's 25-lap race.

LeFort, having his best career run, was right behind him in second after 25 laps. It was AJ Manuel finishing in third, as the former division champion is back part-time this season.

Christian Herman and Arthur Meack rounded out the top-five.

Jacob Budznya, Henry Lavallee, Christine Cavallaro, Jacob Thrasher and Nate Harris finished the top-10.

The Sport 4’s will be back on the track on Friday, June 13, for another 30-lap feature, in the first race of the Everett’s Triple Crown. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
