SEEKONK, Mass. — Two different drivers were celebrating at the end of Saturday’s Late Model main event at Seekonk Speedway. Mark Jenison took his old faithful chassis back to victory lane for the first time in 2025, rocketing around the third-mile and coming out on top of a hotly contested battle with Andrew Gomes to take down his first win of the season.
In the race for the Everett’s Triple Crown title, it was Chase Belcher holding off the charges of Charlie Rose to capture the special event crown.
Jenison held on over the second half of the race with Gomes, a sophomore contender, breathing down his neck. At the checkered, Jension won over Gomes and Belcher. Rose finished fourth, with Richie Murray rounding out the top-five in the 45-lap contest.

Josh Hedges, Jacob Burns, Connor Souza, Ryan Vanasse Jr and Bill Goodrow finished the top-10.
The Late Models will be back on track on Saturday, August 16, for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
