SEEKONK, Mass. — Ethan Souza had a fast car in week one of Pure Stock racing at Seekonk Speedway, and week two was no different. Souza worked his way up to second quickly, took the lead from Bryson Robidoux and never looked back to get to Victory Lane.
The Story: Robidoux jumped out to the front early and looked to be the car to beat. Souza chased him around for many laps, before he was finally able to get the run he needed to get the top spot. While Bryson Robidoux settled into his second, his brother, Brent, made the move and took the spot from him late in the race. Richie Johnson, the opening week winner and Rookie of the Year contender, passed Bryson in the final few circuits for third.
The Top Finishers: The official top-five after 25 laps was Ethan Souza, Brent Robidoux, Richie Johnson, Bryson Robidoux and Zachary Keith. Peter Bleau, Tim Ouellette, Crystal Murray, Don Couremanche and Steve Aubin finished the top-10.
The Pure Stocks will be back for their third race of the season on Friday, June 12.
