SEEKONK, Mass. — Landon Solomito had a strong start to the season last week for much of the race on opening night, but wasn’t able to finish. In week two, the first round of the Everett’s Triple Crown Series, the defending Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit champion rocketed to the front of the field and held off all challengers behind him to return to Victory Lane.
The Story: Solomito jumped to the front after a hard-fought battle between Elias Dib and Jace Chaber ended with Dib jumping out to the lead. Dib slid up the track off turn four, and Solomito peaked a nose to the inside to take over the lead. From there, Solomito kept pace ahead of Chaber to score the win.
The Top Finishers: Elias Dib scored a strong podium in third, while Chace Guillemette made his Seekonk Speedway debut and finished in fourth, followed by Brody Solomito in fifth.
The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will be back on the tack on Friday, June 12, for race three of their season.
