CAVALLARO HOLDS OFF CESTODIO FOR CROWN VIC TRIPLE CROWN FEATURE WIN

SEEKONK, Mass. — The One Way Recycling Crown Vic Cruisers were back on the track for the second week of Fast Friday racing and it was a familiar face in Victory Lane. Six-time track champion Mike Cavallaro charged to the front quickly and held on for the feature win in the first round of the Everett’s Triple Crown Series for the division.

The Story: The second race of the season for the Crown Vics was hot right from the start, with Cavallaro starting third. He cut it three-wide going into turn one on the opening lap and jumped out front right away. Scott Cestodio charged into the second spot with him and the two pulled away from the field. It was Cavallaro holding Cestodio’s hard charge off over the final laps to score the feature win.

The Top Finishers: John Robidoux wheeled the Dulac Motorsports No. 2 home to a third-place finish, while Tyrese Mello and John Lallier followed to finish the top-five.

The One Way Recycling Crown Vic Cruisers will be back for race three of the season next Friday, June 12.
