SEEKONK, Mass. — After a trying season, defending Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw champion Bryson Robidoux was on top for the first time in the Pure Stocks on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway.
Robidoux started from the pole position and led the entire 25-lap showdown, capturing his first career win. It was the seventh win of the season in the Pure Stocks for the Robidoux family, going along with the six his brother Brent, who is racing for the championship, has so far.
Justin Menard finished a strong second and Peter Bleau wrapped a top-three that was all non-playoff contenders. The first Sunoco Drive For The Cup contender to finish was Mike Henriques in fourth, followed by Brent Robidoux. Ethan Souza finished sixth, with Crystal Murray, Matthew Talbot, Danny Massa and Jared Cordeira finishing the top-10.
The Championship Final Four contenders in the Pure Stocks will be Brent Robidoux, Mike Henriques, Ethan Souza and Matthew Talbot.
The final race of the season for the Pure Stocks will take place on Friday, September 26. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
