MEGA FIREWORKS DISPLAY, THRILLS & SPILLS ON LABOR DAY  THRILL SHOW SATURDAY AT SEEKONK SPEEDWAY

ree

SEEKONK, Mass. — A special fireworks display sponsored by MEGA Disposal will light up the night sky in honor of Labor Day this Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway. As part of the annual Labor Day Thrill Show, fireworks will wrap the night of competition that includes more than five divisions of racing action - a can't miss night for families!

All the racing gets underway at 5 p.m. with the first green flag. Tickets are available in advance online at SeekonkSpeedway.com.

Headlining the show on top of the fireworks will be another round of action for the East Coast Towing & Recovery Spectator Drag Series. Down to the stretch run of their season, Jarred Smith leads the championship standings by 12 points over Carlito Mello. The Spectator Drag division draws a large car count for Thrill Show events, allowing fans to take their street car off the street and compete in one-on-one action on the third-mile. It's one of the easiest ways to go racing.

On top of the Spectator Drags, the One Way Recycling Crown Vic Cruisers return to the track for another race. In the three races so far, it’s been three different winners, with Scott Custodio, Crystal Serydysnki and Mike Cavallaro all capturing the checkered flag in this growing division. Will another driver add their name to the list this Saturday night?

The always exciting Santos Recycling Enduro Drags, Crazy Figure 8 Racing and Car & Truck Enduro Racing will also compete in the Labor Day Thrill Show.

For fans hoping to skip the lines and save money on admission, purchase tickets online at SeekonkSpeedway.com

Tickets are $25 for adults online in advance, $12 for youth 6-12 and kids five and under and parking is free. If purchased at the track, tickets are $28 per adult, $15 for youth 6-12 and kids five and under and parking is still free. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead in the event of the event selling out.
