SEEKONK, Mass. — Defending Pro Stock champion Dylan Estrella had an up and down start to the season, but was finally on top Saturday night in a big way. Estrella’s first victory of the season came in the American Racer Pro Stock 75, an event worth $2,000 to the winner. Estrella made a late move to get the lead and held off Jacob Burns to the checkered flag to pick up the feature win.
Burns finished second, after charging from the back to the front in the second half of the race. Bobby Pelland III had one of the fastest cars on the track all night and was back on the podium in the third spot after 75 circuits. David Darling finished fourth, with former champion Kenny Spencer in fifth.
Vinnie Arrenegado, Nick Lascuola, Mark Jenison, Mike Brightman and Colbey Fournier finished the top-10.
The Pro Stock will be back on the track on Saturday, July 19, for another main event, their 80-lap Anniversary Series special. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
